I'm Selena Seto, PT, DPT, CSCS. I have been a Physical Therapist for 8 years and Personal Trainer for 10. Over my years, I have:

  • Refined my skills in functional movement analysis — a keen eye for assessing the quality of your movement, picking up on movement deviations, and where they may be coming from.
    It's not always the affected joint that's causing the issue.
  • Furthered my learning with a series of courses and mentorship that look into the root cause of issues, how the human body moves, and why.
    It's not necessarily hand dominance or because you sit too much — there are deeper, natural neurally-driven patterns that wire us.
  • Developed a unique lens for exercise prescription that blends corrective exercises with strengthening and neuromuscularly integrates them into how your body moves naturally.
    Rather than treating "rehab exercises" as separate from "strength and performance exercises," where the body doesn't adopt changes from the rehab exercises.

Our Process

Consultation & Movement Assessment
We meet through a video call and discuss your background and goals. I'll guide you through several movements and provide real-time analysis of any movement deviations you have.
Your Individualized Program
Within 3 business days, you'll receive a program built specifically for you — delivered via Google Sheets, ready to use anywhere.
60-Minute Walkthrough Call
We review every exercise together via video call so you start with complete clarity and confidence.
Ongoing Coaching
Weekly check-ins, form check reviews, and monthly program updates that progress as you get stronger and move better.

Offerings

Each program is individualized to your goals, results of your movement analysis, mindful of past or current injuries, schedule, and equipment and space available to you.

I put a lot of intention behind each exercise and how it is performed — not just form, but the variation is prescribed to get exactly what your body needs out of each joint, and facilitate muscles to learn to work together in calibrated ways to address your deviations, and that progresses as you get stronger and move better.

I will only take on so many clients at a time to ensure I can provide the quality of programs and coaching I am proud to have my name behind. I appreciate your patience and flexibility if there is a waitlist before we begin together.

Please note: Even though Selena Seto, PT, DPT, CSCS is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, the services offered here at Kinetic Edge Performance are personal training, which is not for direct rehabilitation of an injury. However, we can absolutely work on movement quality, returning after an injury, and injury prevention.

Hello, I'm Selena Seto, PT, DPT, CSCS. I am the Founder and Personal Trainer at Kinetic Edge Performance, bringing my expertise as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) to elevate my clients' quality of movement.

I hold a B.S. in Health and Exercise Science from The College of New Jersey (2015) and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Rutgers University (2018). I sought mentors during and after my schooling that made my clinical experience early on even more insightful.

Over the years, I've developed a keen eye for movement analysis, efficient systems to assess and educate clients, and a deeper understanding of how the body works. I aim to empower my clients with knowledge and greater awareness of their bodies while reaching their goals.
